The Apple Cabin is a single-module, factory-finished prefabricated house designed around a simple idea: put the best possible view in front of the person using the space, and remove everything that distracts from it.
The structure is a rigid steel frame — hot-dip galvanized, welded at the joints — clad in aluminum-plastic composite panels with a smooth, seamless finish. The most recognizable feature is the front face: a floor-to-ceiling curtain wall of LOW-E tempered double-glazed glass that spans the full width and most of the height of the unit. The roof is curved, not flat, which gives the cabin its characteristic capsule silhouette and also helps channel water and debris off the surface.
Inside, the cabin is fully finished before delivery. The floor is laid. The walls are painted or paneled. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and vanity.
