CNMC 30FT Dual-Wing Expandable Container House – Mid-Size Modular Shelter with Full-Room Width and Single-Truck Transport
The 30FT Dual-Wing Expandable Container House occupies the middle ground in the CNMCH expandable series — between the compact 20FT and the full-length 40FT. It is built for projects that need more space than a 20FT can offer but are constrained by truck access, site footprint, or the budget for a single shipment rather than multiple units. In its folded state, the unit measures 9 meters long by 2.2 meters wide — a standard 30-foot container footprint — and ships on a single flatbed truck without requiring oversized load permits or special freight arrangements. Once the truck reaches the site, both side wings swing outward on heavy-duty galvanized hinges, increasing the width to 6.2 meters and delivering roughly 56 square meters of usable floor area.
The exterior follows the same design language as the rest of the series: dark grey profiled steel panels with white trim, a central entry door flanked by sliding windows on each wing, and a flat or sloped roof option. The interior is finished with light-colored wall panels, a choice of PVC or laminate flooring, and pre-installed electrical distribution. The unit can be ordered as an empty shell for custom fit-out or fully furnished with partitions, kitchen cabinetry, and bathroom fixtures depending on the intended use.
CNMC 30FT Dual-Wing Expandable Container House – Mid-Size Modular Shelter with Full-Room Width and Single-Truck Transport Description
Expanded Floor Area in a Manageable Overall Length
The 30FT model delivers 56 square meters of interior space when fully deployed — enough for a two-bedroom apartment layout, a 10-person office, or a combined living-and-working floor plan. The 9-meter overall length means it fits on sites where a 40FT unit would overhang boundaries or block access roads, while still offering nearly double the floor area of a 20FT unit.
Single-Truck Delivery Without Escort Vehicles
Because the folded width stays within the 2.2-meter standard container profile, the unit travels on a regular flatbed without police escorts, wide-load signage, or route restrictions. This is a meaningful advantage in urban areas, mountain roads, and overseas destinations where oversized transport adds time, cost, and permitting complexity.
Rapid Manual Deployment with No External Power
The wing expansion mechanism is entirely manual — no hydraulics, pneumatics, or electric motors. A crew of three to four people releases the locking pins, pulls the wings outward along the guide rails, drops the floor panels into place, and secures the structure with locking bolts. The entire sequence takes 20 to 30 minutes. This is especially valuable in remote or post-disaster settings where power tools and heavy equipment may not be available.
Pre-Installed Systems for Same-Day Occupancy
All electrical wiring, switchboards, lighting fixtures, power outlets, and data cabling are installed and tested at the factory before the unit leaves the production line. Optional plumbing packages include pre-run supply and drainage lines for a kitchen sink, toilet, shower, and washbasin. On arrival, the unit connects to an external power source and water supply, and it is ready for use within the same day.
Insulated Panel Construction for Temperate and Extreme Climates
Depending on the customer’s climate zone, the wall and roof panels are filled with EPS, rock wool, or polyurethane foam at thicknesses of 50 mm to 75 mm. The insulated sandwich construction, combined with double-glazed sliding windows and thermal-break door frames, maintains interior temperatures within a comfortable range across hot, cold, and humid environments. The panels also provide acoustic insulation, reducing noise from external activities.
CNMC 30FT Dual-Wing Expandable Container House – Mid-Size Modular Shelter with Full-Room Width and Single-Truck Transport Applications
Mid-Size Construction Site Management Offices
Projects that are too large for a 20FT office but do not warrant a full 40FT suite — such as mid-rise residential developments, road extension projects, or industrial plant upgrades — use the 30FT unit as a site management headquarters. The expanded floor accommodates six to eight desks, a drawing table, storage cabinets, and a small kitchen area. The separate meeting alcove can be partitioned off for private discussions.
Remote Camp Accommodation for 4 to 6 Personnel
In mining exploration camps, forestry operations, and geotechnical survey bases, the 30FT unit serves as a self-contained accommodation module for four to six workers. The interior can be divided into two sleeping rooms with bunks, a shared living area with a dining table and television, and a compact kitchenette. An attached bathroom module provides shower and toilet facilities.
Field Medical Triage and Treatment Stations
During disease outbreaks, natural disasters, or mass vaccination campaigns, health authorities need quickly deployable medical spaces. The 30FT unit provides enough room for a triage desk, two examination beds, a medication storage cabinet, and a hand-washing station. The pre-installed electrical system supports medical lighting, refrigeration for vaccines, and charging for portable diagnostic equipment.
Rural School Classroom or Community Library
In remote villages where permanent school buildings are years away, the 30FT unit can serve as a classroom for 20 to 25 students. The large sliding windows provide cross-ventilation and natural light, and the insulated walls keep the room quiet during lessons. After school hours, the same space functions as a community library or adult literacy center. The unit can be relocated when the population shifts.
Pop-Up Restaurant or Food Court Kiosk
Food entrepreneurs and event organizers use the 30FT unit as a mobile restaurant kitchen and service counter. The expanded interior provides a cooking area at the back, a serving counter at the front, and a small dining nook for customers. The pre-installed plumbing supports a commercial sink, and the electrical system handles refrigeration, cooking equipment, and ventilation hoods.
